《冬季33度》Winter 33°C

Winter 33°C is essentially about life – our experiences and memories that leave a lasting impression, and the different interpretations of the world around us. With two choreographers from vastly diverse backgrounds and influences, Winter 33°C will be a juxtaposition of East and West. It will highlight both their distinctive styles, which are contrasting yet complimentary.

The choreographers will be working on two separate dance pieces, and will infuse their thoughts and interpretations within the movements of the dancers. Through exploring human consciousness and metaphysics, and by examining the inherent blueprints of our thoughts and feelings, KTDC look forward to presenting the unique season that is Winter 33°C.

《冬季33度》探讨人生与生活-我们在人生中所留下的深刻经验与记忆，给于我们周遭的世界一个不同的诠释。《冬季33度》为了突显其独特风格，分别邀请了两位文化背景毫不相同的东西方编导，以在此次演出中呈现出东西方文化上的结合。此次演出，编导将会把他们的想法注入两支不同的舞蹈作品，通过人类的意识和形态上的探索，及思想和感情上的探讨，与雪隆广青舞团的舞者们共同踏上探索之路。

This year, KTDC’s Training Programme was upgraded to KTDC 2 and therefore, <Eyes on 2> is in essence a ‘graduation’ of sorts for the Trainees who have blossomed as dancers.

The dancers of KTDC 2 are from diverse backgrounds with different personalities and body types. But when they come together in KTDC 2, a fascinating combination results – they dance as one in the midst of diversity, highlighting their dedication and passion for the art form.

The theme of <Eyes on 2> places the spotlight on these young dancers. This showcase provides them with a common platform to jointly showcase more mature dance lexicons resulting from their training, as well as the visions of the choreographers – Louise Yow and Tan Bee Hung from KTDC, and James Kan, a local emerging artist who recently graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts. Working with three different choreographers with differing styles is an enriching experience for the dancers, an experience which they are eager to share with the audience.

雪隆广青舞团《舞出艳阳天培训班》于今年被提升为雪隆广青舞团二。因此，《独二无疑》将会是二团舞者们首次以舞者的身份展现自己。由于舞者们皆来自不同的成长背景，因而造就了自己独特的一面，不同的个性、不同的肢体，让他们在凝聚一起的时候，为舞蹈产生了不同的化学效应，从而更能在人群中凸显自己对舞蹈的执着与梦想。

这次带来《独二无疑》的主题，概念是本着每个人都是独一无二的个体，虽来自不同的生活背景，但却从这个舞蹈平台让这群独特的个体展现他们经过培训后更成熟的舞姿，呈献在编导余真华，陈美向及台湾游学回来的简智伟所编创的作品中。这三位编导将以不同的风格及节奏，让舞者们更能体验截然不同的舞蹈经验，真诚的与观众分享及交流。

* Like the much-loved tea by the people, < 3 Layers Tea > will tantalize the senses with a triple serving of dance, specially created by the three choreographers. This performance is the second collaboration that Albert has had with Kwang Tung Dance Company since 2004, and it is Aris’ first collaboration with Kwang Tung Dance Company. For Judimar, former judge of So You Think You Can Dance (Malaysia), this collaboration is also a first. All three with their very unique dance backgrounds will infuse different dance elements and thoughts into the dancers’ bodies, in an attempt to bring out the different sides of the dancers. This performance is also in the hope to bring dance performing arts back into the community and closer to the heart of the public

* 犹如深受人们喜爱的《叁色奶茶》，此次演出將以三种不一样口味的舞码来刺激及丰富观众们的感官。这场舞蹈演出是张咏翔自 2004 年为雪隆广青舞团编排的第二支舞蹈，亦是 A. Aris A. Kadir 和本团的首次合作。这也是曾是身为 So You Think You Can Dance （大马）的评判， Judimar Hernandez 为本团首次跨刀编排。在趋向专业化的努力中，雪隆广青舞团向来勇于尝试各类舞蹈形式，务求藉由不同编导们的技巧与想法，让舞者在肢体语言上获得更大的领会及启发，并迎刃发挥，既而舞出他们人生的希望及生命力。此次演出，本团邀请三位文化背景各异的编导们掌桨，把不同元素的舞蹈及想法溶入我们舞者的肢体，尝试藉以这一份融合所带来的火花，让舞者们从中得到不一样的领会及冲击。另外，也希望藉此演出把舞蹈艺术带进百姓的生活里，让本地舞蹈艺术再度回归普罗大众的心里。

About the Kwang Tung Dance Company “WE DANCE” Training Programme

雪隆广青舞团舞蹈培训班是由本团一班资深舞者秉持“ 从群众来，往群众去 ”的理念所带动导航，让有意学习舞蹈艺术的青年们可以加入我们的平台，让本土的舞蹈青年们真正有机会及空间“舞出艳阳天”，也让群众齐来感受“舞出艳阳天”的生命力。

The KTDC “WE DANCE” Training Programme is led by the Company’s experienced dancers, who are driven by the concept of “giving back to the community”, and provides interested youths with a platform to train in the art form. While the training programme creates the opportunity and space for young Malaysian dancers to dance, by having performances, it also allows audiences to experience the vivacity of the dancing youth.
